Mr. & Mrs. Buck| A Beautiful Vineyard Wedding

Aug 14, 2021

Celebrating Travis and Haley this past Saturday was easy!  The day was orchestrated so smoothly and everything perfectly fell into place.  We started off the day on a high note, being greeted by the best group of girls who were ready to go and making all the TikToks!  Haley and her bridesmaids looked beautiful with hair and makeup all done as we entered her parents’ home (this rarely happens, but it made the day fly by seamlessly), and they were exuding joy from all the fun videos they’d been creating.  Some of Haley’s details for her day included the cutest pair of personalized white converse. Travis got his own personalized item in the form of the engraved pocket knife Haley gifted him.

Next, we headed to our gorgeous destination, Chenault Vineyards, to capture the rest of this couple’s day.  The covered walkway, featuring tons of draping greenery provided the perfect backdrop for the sweetest first look.  After Travis turned around and saw his beaming bride to be, they truly paused and soaked up the moment.  These are the moments I never want to rush or interrupt, but simply let my clients be and capture their genuine love.  When they were ready, we decided to stay in this dreamy spot, taking advantage of the light.  Chenault has so much breathtaking scenery to utilize for photos, so we headed to a quaint barn and path to capture more portraits and invited the bridal party to join us.

As ceremony time approached, the possibility of a storm was looming over us and the occasional thunder could be heard in the distance.  Luckily, the rain held off and Haley and Travis were officially married on the beautiful lookout atop rolling Kentucky hills.  In fact, the weather was perfect and we even finished family formals just in time!  This is one of those situations where I was especially grateful they chose to do a first look.  We got everything we needed and more– plus I couldn’t help but grab a few more portraits of Haley and Travis with this epic background at the ceremony spot.

As a nice change of pace, the couple entered their reception in one of the barn venues Chenault has to offer.  The beautiful lights glistened as they danced with their closest friends and family.  The food catered by the venue was an exquisite italian buffet.  Did I mention how amazing the vendors were Haley and Travis chose to execute their day?  We discussed at several points how this was definitely the dream team, as we all loved working together! Even though the rain put a damper on the original mock exit we had planned, the forecast cleared up and allowed the couple to still have their beautiful sparkler exit to end the night!

Haley and Travis, thank you so much for choosing me to capture your day and the love you all share! Please enjoy a few of my favorites!

This amazing day would not have been possible without this wonderful team of vendors!
