This past weekend, I had the absolute honor of photographing one of the most beautifully curated and joy-filled celebrations — Stephanie’s Baby in Bloom. Hosted at the iconic and historic Hermitage Hotel, this baby shower was nothing short of breathtaking. Every single detail was intentionally thought out and styled to perfection, making it a morning we won’t soon forget.

The room itself was like walking into a dream. Set in one of The Hermitage’s grand private spaces, the elegant architecture was enhanced with an abundance of luxurious florals that felt like stepping into a blooming garden. Fiorella Nashville outdid themselves with lush arrangements spilling with soft pastels, delicate textures, and blooms that brought life to every corner of the room.

The design and planning by Lumi Accents turned this event into something magical — from the stunning backdrops by Nash Co. Backdrops to the elevated rentals from Mack Hatcher Events and Westera Rentals. Everything worked in harmony to create an atmosphere of warmth, joy, and beauty. Specialty linens by Bbj La Tavola added a refined touch that tied the whole look together effortlessly.
The design and planning by Lumi Accents were truly next level. Every inch of the space reflected her incredible eye for detail and signature touch of elegance. Susanna (owner of Lumi Accents) has a gift for creating experiences that feel both luxurious and deeply personal — and nothing is ever overlooked. From the thoughtful layout of each station to the way the florals and linens complemented the room’s natural beauty, her designs are always immaculate, intentional, and full of heart. She has a way of bringing a vision to life in the most seamless, breathtaking way, and this shower was no exception.

Guests were treated to a brunch spread that was as gorgeous as it was delicious — a true feast for the senses. Paired with handcrafted cocktails, it was the perfect way to toast the beautiful mama-to-be. A show-stopping cake by Sweets By Haley and intricately designed cookies by Nicholsons Nibbles added that extra dose of sweetness we all needed.

What made this shower so memorable were the interactive and thoughtful touches throughout the event. An embroidery station by Elizabeth Davis Designs gave guests the opportunity to create personalized embroidered gifts for Stephanie and her little one — such a unique keepsake! There was even a headband-making station, allowing guests to handcraft a one-of-a-kind piece for baby girl. These sweet, creative moments brought everyone together in laughter, storytelling, and shared joy.

Just when we thought our hearts couldn’t be any fuller, the daddy-to-be made a surprise appearance, walking in mid-event with a bouquet of fresh blooms for Stephanie. It was such a tender and thoughtful moment that left everyone teary-eyed and smiling — a reminder of the deep love already surrounding this little one.

Stephanie herself was absolutely glowing. With hair and makeup by Morgys Beauty Bar, she looked radiant and serene — the very picture of motherhood in bloom. There was no shortage of laughter, love, and genuine joy at this event. Everyone in the room could feel how special the day was — a true celebration of new life, friendship, and the beauty of gathering together to shower someone so dearly loved.
