What a stunning day it was at the beautiful Warren Wood Manor for Andrea and Jarod’s wedding!
When I first booked with this wonderful couple and we began discussing their engagement session, they asked if I would be up for hiking to the top of the pinnacles to do their session…ummm YES!! That is one of my favorite locations to shoot so I knew they were going to be idea clients for me. You can check out their dreamy engagement session

Fast forward to February of this year when my family got the surprise news of a big blessing. We were expecting our second child! My due date however, was three days before Andrea’s and Jarod’s wedding and my heart was broke to have to break the news that I would not be able to personally be there to shoot their wedding. Once I called to tell them the exciting but hard news they were nothing but kind and happy for me. They also chose to continue to work with me throughout the entire wedding process. Even though I was not able to be there in person on their wedding day the couple received the same experience as with any of my brides; my bridal guides, creating their timeline, other special sessions they wanted and so much more. The only difference was that I hired two amazing photographer friends to capture their wedding day. I then get all the images from them, edit in my style, create their blog and deliver. I was so excited when they were 100% ok with this option because I adore this sweet couple and still wanted to make sure I could help in any way to make their day nothing but perfection!
Lauren (my full time second shooter) and Kenna were so wonderful to step up as co-assoiate shooters for me. I am so thankful to not just call both of these beautiful girls working colleagues but I am lucky enough to call them both dear friends of mine. Having these talented girls capture the day left me at such ease because I knew this couple was in wonderful hands and they would create beautiful images like I needed.. ..and they did just that!!!
Lauren and Kenna raved about how wonderful Andrea and Jarod’s wedding day was. Some of my favorite memories from the day that they talked to me about was that of Andrea’s robe. It was hand made out of her mother’s own wedding dress and it was absolutely stunning!!! What a special touch to this day! Another special touch I thought was unique was that the couple and bridal party had umbrellas they all had brought to each of their weddings and it keeps the rain away. This held true for their day and they were able to get the images they needed outdoors before any rain hit. During the reception Lauren and Kenna said the speeches were so sweet. The best man said he called it the night Jarod and Andrea met, that Jarod would marry her and he was right!! After that, the party began and everyone danced the night away having the time of their lives!
Andrea and Jarod, I am so thankful you chose me to be a part of your wedding process and I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from your amazing day!
This amazing day would not have been possible without all these wonderful vendors!
