Mr. & Mrs. McWilliams | A Summer Talon Winery Wedding

Jul 23, 2021

Stacie & Jacob

Where do I begin with this beautiful couple and day?  As soon as I walked into the midst of all the girls getting ready, I knew it was going to be a good day, as Stacie had all her details ready to go for me, all chosen with intentionality to the little things.  In fact, thoughtfulness was laced throughout every moment of the day.  I truly don’t know if I’ve ever felt more welcome by a family on a wedding day!  After already capturing  Stacie’s sister’s wedding last year, seeing all the familiar faces was an added bonus to this day.

The next part of the day was the sweetest, as Stacie and Jacob shared an intimate first look in the middle of the gorgeous vineyards at Talon Winery.  The sun broke through the clouds for this glowing moment and Jacob’s face lit up when he saw his bride.  We continued to venture around the property capturing some of the sweetest portraits.  The joy of this couple was overflowing and contagious!

Fast forward to the ceremony and reception… As I said before, Stacie cared about the details and it showed.  I repeatedly told them that Talon had never looked so good; it was decorated so beautifully with hanging greenery that stood out against the twinkle lights.  A favorite moment of mine is always the father/daughter dance and this one was no exception to being a tear-jerker. Again this family is just the most welcoming and that feeling came through during the speeches as well. Everyone danced the night away with lots of singing along and dancing, especially when the Jonas Brothers (Stacie’s favorite) came on the playlist!

Stacie and Jacob fit perfectly together, and their day of celebration with friends and family in the presence of Christ was a reflection of that.  So to the newlywed Mr. and Mrs. McWilliams, thank you so much not only for allowing me to capture your wedding day, but also for being so welcoming and thoughtful! I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness! I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites.

This amazing day would not have been possible without this amazing team of vendors!
