From taking Sydney & Brandon’s engagement photos at the beautiful Ault Park in Cincinnati to capturing their day at the beautiful Talon winery, this couple has welcomed me with generosity and a willingness to adventure. Talon Winery has started to feel like home with this being my third wedding I’ve photographed there, this season alone. Still, it’s amazing how each couple adds their own personal touch to a venue and day, making for an experience unique and tailored to them. This was especially true of Sydney and Brandon with so many personal touches displayed throughout.

One of these personal touches were the table centerpieces I noticed when entering the reception area. In the middle of each table sat gold frames, personalized with notes from Sydney’s students, as she is a teacher. These notes were both amusing and sweet, and represented the bride in such a personal way. Did I mention how thoughtful Sydney is? She also had the sweetest gift waiting for me when I arrived. The bottle of wine from Talon, along with a personalized wooden name tag, and her note were enough to make me tear up before the day had even officially begun. I have the best brides.

Getting this day in full swing was no difficult task with this wedding party, who took their jobs as the personal hype-team of the bride and groom very seriously. They showered the couple with cheers and support erupting from the party bus during their portraits, making this moment so fun! This point is proven even more by the fact the bridal party went straight into an intense game of flip cup upon entering the reception! Then, during speeches, I had the gift of seeing Sydney and Brandon through the eyes of their friends and stories shared that showed their character. This close-knit group made everything a celebration! Sydney and her girls took advantage of the reception, singing out all their favorite songs in their signature group circle. To end a perfect day, Sydney and Brandon continued to party the night away surrounded by their friends and family.
