Andi and Dylan’s wedding day was a truly magical experience from start to finish. The moment I arrived at the picturesque Ashford Acres Inn, I knew it was going to be a day filled with beauty and love, and it did not disappoint.

The fall weather was perfect, setting the stage for a day filled with black and white decor adorned with stunning white flowers everywhere you looked. It was the ideal recipe for a perfect wedding day, and that’s exactly what it turned out to be.

As I entered the bridal suite, I found Andi and her bridesmaids in their black pajamas, while Andi herself wore a stunning white robe. I quickly got to work capturing all the intricate details, and I must say, Andi’s exquisite details truly inspired my creative side. One of the highlights of the getting-ready process was when Andi shared an intimate and elegant moment getting into her dress with her mom in a beautiful entry space. These precious photos will undoubtedly be cherished by this mother and daughter forever.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the house, Dylan and his groomsmen were having a great time getting ready. I had the honor of photographing several of the groomsmen’s weddings or having them as groomsmen in other weddings I’ve shot, which made for a fun and familiar atmosphere. The guys were full of energy and excitement as they prepared for the big day.

Andi and her dad had a heartwarming first look around the gazebo, where he presented her with a sweet card that brought tears of joy to her eyes. After this touching moment, it was time for Andi and Dylan to see each other. We chose the front entrance of the grand home, with its tall white columns, for this special first look. Dylan’s reaction upon seeing Andi was absolutely priceless – his excitement, joy, and love for his stunning bride radiated through his expression.

We then proceeded to capture some beautiful couple photos in front of the home and the reception hall. Andi and Dylan also shared private vows with each other, deepening their connection even further.

Next on the agenda was a lot of fun with the bridal party, as we captured precious moments with their closest friends and family. Finally, it was time for the stunning ceremony under the fall trees, with their aisles adorned with an abundance of flowers leading to a floral arch where they exchanged their vows. The ceremony was beautiful, and cheers filled the air as they exited the aisle, with rose petals showering them with love.

After wrapping up the family formals, the couple unearthed a bottle of bourbon that they had buried on the property to ensure good weather on their special day. It seemed their bourbon ritual worked like a charm because we had the most perfect temperatures and even some sunshine for the sunset photos – some of my personal favorites from the day. We had a blast, filled with laughter and giggles, and the couple’s love for each other shone brightly.

Now, it was time for the reception! The grand entrance featured confetti poppers from the bridal party, setting the tone for an evening of celebration. The couple shared intimate first dances, cut the cake, and enjoyed heartfelt toasts from their closest friends. Andi’s maid of honor shared touching memories of their childhood dreams of planning weddings together, and she even made their childhood wish of having dry ice come true at Andi’s wedding day. It was a heartfelt and sweet speech that left everyone feeling sentimental.

After all the special moments, including the bouquet toss and a delicious dinner, it was time to hit the dance floor. It didn’t take long for everyone to join in and have a fantastic time as the night unfolded. We ended the evening by sending off the newlyweds with a beautiful sparkler exit, a perfect ending to a wonderful day.
