Dallas and I have become fast friends over the last year, bonding over early mornings and shared laughs at our weekly Pilates and barre classes. We see each other several times a week, pushing through planks and pulsing through squats—and it’s been such a joy getting to know her heart. We even kicked off her wedding day with a bright and early barre class, joined by all her bridesmaids! That energy, that sisterhood—it set the tone for the entire day.

And to make it even sweeter, my husband works with Jace, so our families have gotten to know one another in the most genuine way. Being asked to photograph their wedding wasn’t just an honor—it felt like celebrating two friends we’ve grown to love.

The wedding took place at the stunning Ruby in downtown Nashville. The forecast may have hinted at a storm, but honestly, the joy in that room completely outshone any clouds in the sky. From the moment I arrived, there was this electric happiness in the air. It was one of those weddings where everyone was just so happy to be there—and it showed.

Dallas and Jace shared some of the sweetest moments with their daughter throughout the day. Watching the three of them together was incredibly special—especially as their little girl and the other flower girl completely stole the spotlight (and the dance floor!) later that night. Their twirls, laughter, and bold moves had everyone smiling and cheering them on.

The extended cocktail hour allowed guests to truly relax and soak in the atmosphere. Beautiful hors d’oeuvres were passed around all night, and the conversations flowed just as easily as the margaritas.

Then came the dancing—oh, the dancing! That dance floor was absolutely packed from the first song to the last. Shoulder to shoulder, shoes off, hearts full. It was the kind of party that makes you want to live in that moment just a little bit longer.
