There are some families that come into your life and instantly feel like a blessing — and this sweet family is one of those. I’m so thankful that our paths have crossed through our husbands working together, and our chats in the family room at games with the kids playing around us. Watching our families connect has been the sweetest gift, and getting to photograph them feels like an honor I don’t take lightly.

This session at the Parthenon was truly one for the books. Nashville gave us the perfect day — warm light, soft skies, and just the right breeze that made everything feel peaceful and golden. And celebrating sweet Harrison turning one made it even more special. There’s something magical about documenting a family in this stage of life… the giggles, the chubby hands reaching out for mama, the way dad looks at his little boy, and the joy that just radiates from a family who adores one another.

Capturing these moments for such a wonderful family meant so much to me, not just as a photographer, but as a friend. I’m incredibly grateful they trusted me with these memories during such a milestone season.
