There’s something so special about getting to photograph a family through so many seasons of their life. It’s one of the greatest honors of what I do—showing up year after year, watching little personalities grow, and freezing these milestones in time. This sweet family is one I’ve been grateful to capture again and again, and every time feels just as meaningful as the first.
While we were all back in Kentucky for the Thanksgiving holidays, it worked out perfectly for our schedules to line up for a session. And even though it was a bright-and-early sunrise start, we woke up to the thickest blanket of fog I’ve ever seen. At first we weren’t sure what to expect… but it ended up being pure magic.
The fog wrapped around the trees, softening every edge and making the fall colors pop in the most dreamy way. There’s something about the quiet of a foggy morning—the stillness, the softness—that feels almost sacred. It created the most beautiful backdrop and made this session one I won’t forget.
I’m so grateful for families who trust me with their memories year after year. Capturing their story through so many different chapters is truly an honor, and I’m already looking forward to the next time we’re all in the same place again.

XOXO,
