And their off! What better day to get engaged and a year later marry the love of your life than Derby Day! That is exactly what this amazing couple did. When COVID 19 changed the plans of many things it did not disappoint that it so happened to change Katie and Danny’s wedding date to be on the same day as the famous KY Derby! The two of them went hand and hand as the entire wedding had such a southern charm to it.

There were many amazing details that made this derby wedding unforgettable. It included an abundance of beautiful florals that decked the entire open venue, two fully stocked bars, one being outdoors in a horse trailer with lots of KY Bourbon. They had guest that attended from all over the United States who were treated to valet parking along with three coach busses that chartered guest in from their hotel.

The entire wedding day was such an amazing event! To see everyone get to come together and celebrate this adorable couple was heartwarming. After Katie and Danny said their “I do’s” it was followed by a beautiful cocktail hour on the lawn along with watching the big race and cheering on the horses.

Once the reception started it was filled with dancing, speeches and the most amazing live band , The Jordan English Band. Everyone was on the dance floor having the time of their life the entire night. It truly was the perfect ending to a perfect day!
