Cameron & Kaylee | A Kentucky Farm Wedding

Jun 2, 2021

Cameron and Kaylee’s wedding day was nothing short of amazing! It was the first wedding this year that my husband Rubem joined me as my second shooter. We could not have been more excited and honored to capture such a beautiful couple. The entire day was filled with stunning details and both families put together an amazing ceremony on the bride’s family farm with a gorgeous barn fully decorated!

The ceremony took place at a beautiful lawn outside the barn with some breathtaking views. During the ceremony a couple unexpected surprises made this wedding one for the books. One of the groomsmen started us off by walking in, styled as a “flower girl”. It definitely made for lots of laughs. Then before Cameron said, “I do” he asked for a moment and huddled up with his groomsmen. It was too funny and an unforgettable moment for sure. The couple tied the knot and the overflowing of happiness on their face walking out as husband and wife shined through.

After we did family formals and some bridal party shots I then photographed the sweet couple. They were laughing and having the best time ever, making my job easy. Their love for one another was so sweet and contagious. You could just look at them and see the happiness they were feeling. They also dug up a bottle of bourbon they had buried months before the ceremony. As southern folklore say, if this is done at the place of the ceremony it will bring good weather. Guess what?? It worked and the day was perfect!!

The reception flowed so well and the DJ kept everyone up dancing throughout the night! After the traditional father/daughter and mother/son dance was over, Kaylee had the DJ bring up her mother for a special mother/daughter dance. Each dance was truly heartwarming. Later that evening Kaylee and all of her bridesmaids surprised Cameron with an amazing choreographed dance to Fergalicious. They had the entire reception cheering and laughing!! This was such a fun and happy day for all.

Cameron and Kaylee, I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day! I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness! I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites.
