Ben & Kendall | A Charleston Engagement

Jun 9, 2021

Y’all, I am so thankful this beautiful and sweet couple took me to Charleston, SC for their engagement session. What a dream! It was on my bucket list of places to shoot and I could not be more grateful to have had this opportunity. Not only were the locations we chose filled with the perfect backdrop and a stunning couple, but it was also an absolute blast. Venturing around this city with Kendall and Ben made for a fun day. Let me tell you, Ben was a champ through it all because Kendall and I did not stop talking. Lol!

We started our day at the gorgeous grounds of the Magnolia Plantation. It has the most beautiful gardens, a variety of plant life, animals roaming freely as well as a white bridge over the water with stunning Spanish moss trees surrounding. Kendall and Ben’s love for each other was infectious and I could not stop taking photos. Thus setting the tone to a perfect and effortlessly romantic session.

We continued the day in downtown Charleston, but first we made a stop at Monza Pizza Bar for lunch followed by dessert at Jennie’s Ice Cream shop for a little recharge.

Our second session through the historic streets and landmarks of this amazing city was incredible. We took pictures at Rainbow Row, the Muse, which was my favorite spot and several other picturesque places.

Wait but there’s more! To cap off this amazing day we decided to go to Folly Beach for a breathtaking sunset photo shoot. I thought nothing could top off all the photos we had already taken, oh was I wrong. Some of the beach photos became my all-time favorites. We had the most stunning backdrop of a lighthouse as well as a visit of about 10 dolphins swimming around very close to the shore. It truly was amazing!

Ben and Kendall are one of my wedding couples for 2021 and I am looking forward to capturing their dream wedding this fall. They are getting married at Kendall’s family property that is beyond beautiful and very special to them. I truly cannot wait for their big day!

I hope you all enjoy a few of my favorites! (I know there are so many favorites, but wait until you see them and you will know why.)

XOXO,

Engagement
