There’s something undeniably enchanting about a December wedding—crisp air, soft winter light, and a cozy warmth that isn’t weather-made but heart-made. Macey and Jordan’s beautiful wedding day at Cedars at Carr Farm was all of that and more. From the moment I arrived, I knew we were in for a truly special celebration. And with a dream team of vendors I absolutely adore, everything flowed effortlessly.

The morning was filled with fun, laughter, and that beautiful bridal party energy that sets the tone for the rest of the day. As hair and makeup wrapped up and the room settled just a bit, Macey took a quiet moment on the gorgeous vintage couch for some solo portraits. The emotions of the day washed over her—joy, anticipation, and the weight of the moment she had dreamed of. Those quiet frames will forever be some of my favorites.

Soon after, it was time for one of the most meaningful parts of the day: her mom helping into her dress. Watching the two of them share that soft, emotional moment was incredibly special. And the tears didn’t stop there—Macey’s first look with her dad and brother brought even more heartfelt emotion. It was raw, beautiful, and such a privilege to witness.

Then came the moment Jordan had been waiting for. Their first look was absolutely priceless. The way he saw his bride—eyes wide, smile big, heart on his sleeve—was everything. Despite the chilly weather, we worked quickly outdoors to capture some dreamy photos before heading back inside to warm up.

When it was time for the ceremony, guests walked into a scene that was nothing short of breathtaking. The indoor space at Cedars at Carr Farm was transformed with a stunning floral arch, soaring ceilings, and chandeliers draped above. As the ceremony began, three of the sweetest flower girls stole the show—two being pulled in a white Cinderella carriage while the third confidently made her way down the aisle. It was precious in every way.

But nothing compared to the moment Macey appeared. As she walked toward Jordan, the emotions hit everyone. Tears streamed down her father’s face as she laid her head gently on his shoulder. And truthfully—there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

After the ceremony, we moved into family formals where I had the chance to meet even more of their incredible families. We ended with full bridal party portraits and some romantic evening shots outside while guests enjoyed a cozy cocktail hour on the porch. The fireplace was crackling, heaters were glowing, couches lined the space, and the open bar and hors d’oeuvres kept everyone warm from the inside out. It was the perfect transition into what would become an unforgettable reception.

Once the reception kicked off, the energy was electric. Guests cheered on the bridal party, celebrating Macey and Jordan with so much joy. After a special first dance and a delicious buffet dinner, we moved into speeches, cake cutting, and then—my favorite part of the night—the dance floor. The bar was flowing, the DJ was mixing, and the dance floor stayed packed the entire night. Laughter, cheering, and pure celebration filled the room and didn’t slow down for a moment.

As the evening came to an end, guests lined up outside for a sparkling sendoff. Macey and Jordan ran through a tunnel of sparklers before buses arrived to take everyone to the hotel to wrap up the perfect night.
