I can not even begin to tell you how much fun I have had with this amazing couple over the last year and a half! I met Johnathan and Jane when they won a free photo shoot from me during a New Years giveaway I had. This shoot took place in the winter, with the ground completely covered in snow and sleet hitting us during the entire session. However, that did not stop us and I knew from that moment this couple was up for anything!! The three of us could have talked for hours and we laughed so hard our stomachs hurt! I left that day feeling like I had just made new life long friends!
Not long after their session, I received a call from Jane asking me to be their wedding photographer. I was ecstatic! We immediately jumped right into the planning process and scheduled their summer engagement shoot. While at their summer engagement shoot we not only got some amazing images for them but we also grew closer as friends!
Fast forward to May 18th, 2019. The day the two became one!!
When I arrived at the wedding venue I was greeted not only by Jane but also her mother and all her bridesmaids. I felt like I had known them for years, even though I was meeting them for the first time. This group of ladies are amazing and showed so much love and friendship towards one another. They truly made my heart happy!
Johnathan and Jane lived in the moment the entire day and soaked up every second of it. They didn’t stress over anything and they made everyone feel so special with their kind words!
During portraits they were up for ANYTHING!!! Running, spinning, letting the bridal party hold them etc. At one point Jane looked at me and said, “I want the groomsmen to throw me in a basket-toss!” I am pretty sure my heart skipped a beat with excitement!! I knew that these fun and spontaneous moments would make great memories through their images for the rest of their lives.
Some of my favorite moments of the day were during the reception. Jane and her mother did a mother/daughter dance where all the bridesmaids eventually joined in. It was great and so much fun to watch! Halfway through the Father/Daughter dance the entire wedding party broke out dancing to the song, Sought. Every person there was having a blast and cheering everyone on.
Their wedding day could not have been anymore perfect!! The weather could not have been more beautiful, the details more amazing, the guest more excited and in awe, or the couple more happy!
As you can tell this wedding was full of pure joy, bliss and love! It truly was a fairytale!! Johnathan and Jane, I am beyond thankful you not only chose me to capture these memories for you but that I now have two wonderful friends for a lifetime! I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite images from your “BEST DAY EVER!”
This amazing day would not have been possible without the wonderful team of vendors! It was such a pleasure working with all of them!
